The white collection

Thursday 2 June 2011

Besides specialising in vast amounts of West German Pottery, I've been known to indulge in the occasional porcelain buy. Case in point...

I'm particularly fond of these German (again...) mid-century vases. This one is marked Krautheim Selb Bavaria Germany, a manufacturer totally unknown to me.

So far I've only been collecting unglazed bisque vases, but after seeing this blogger's amazing collection, I might just widen the search.

Thankfully, there's a tiny little space left to just about squeeze in any future finds. Of course, I'm aiming to fill up that shelf with more vases. Because leaving some white space in your vignetting ? It ain't gonna happen around here !

  2. Today I brought some things we don`t need anymore to a social project shop and saw a lot of Scheurich and W-Germ. pottery there (just 1 or 2 Euro). If you would like I can take a photo and maybe help you to complete your collection.
