Ok. I went a little crazy on ebay this month. Of course, it goes without saying that my shopping spree was purely West German pottery related.
First on the list, this massive Scheurich floor vase. The tallest I have - 47 cm ! 
I think it looks fabulous in the hall. Fits right into the little ceramic decor thing going on out there: Italian wall plate my grandma bought on one of her first trips to Italy in the early 1950s, and a Ruscha plate I bought on ebay years ago. Long before I had ever even heard of West German pottery. My wallet thinks those where the good times.
Oh! I like it a lot.
ReplyDeleteI have this grandiose plan for my hall (that might imply wall destruction...) and when I'm done (in five hundred years) I'll fill it with floor vase!
That's a beautiful vase. I love floor vases so much that I'm hoping to fill every spare nook in the house with them, like a pottery hoarder...
